How to dress for an engagement session that truly reflects who YOU are!
If we're anything alike, if you don't feel comfortable in what you're wearing, you're probably not going to have a good time. That's why it is SO IMPORTANT to be comfortable in what you wear for your engagement session!
If you aren't a flowy dress person, don't wear a flowy dress! Show up to our session in ripped jeans, your favorite shirt, and converse and I promise we'll have just as awesome of a time. If you love to dress up, then dress up! Wear the dress. Wear the heels. I promise we'll have just as great of a time as well.
Aside from dressing comfortably, I always recommend dressing to a certain color palette. Stray from dressing in clashing patterns or anything too bold. This doesn't mean you have to totally remove patterns or color from your outfit choices, but considering these things help in creating photos that 1) keep the attention of the image on you and 2) don't distract from the location we're shooting at. Creamy neutrals, muted colors, and pastels often work great for any location - indoor or outdoor. I love to look at Pinterest for help on this, but I have also included a couple personal color palettes I use as go-tos when deciding outfits.
